These terms apply when you use Soundtrackd (soundtrackd.app, "we"). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Soundtrackd. Questions: support@soundtrackd.app.

The service

Soundtrackd suggests films and TV shows that feel like a song, and songs that feel like a film. Suggestions are made by AI models and checked against public music and film databases. They're for fun and discovery: they can be wrong, odd or not to your taste, and we don't guarantee any result.

Soundtrackd is in beta. Features, limits and plans may change, and the site may sometimes be slow or unavailable.

Accounts

You need an account for synced history, lists and Premium features. You can search without one.
You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country if it's higher.
Keep access to your email or Google account secure: it's how you sign in. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.

Free and Premium

The basic search is free. Premium adds features such as more searches a day, filters, export and playlist search. During the beta, Premium is free for everyone who signs in. If paid plans launch, we'll announce the price and terms first, and nothing will be charged without you choosing to subscribe.

Fair use

Please don't:

scrape the site, call its API in bulk, or use bots or scripts to run searches;
get around the search limits, for example with many accounts or addresses;
try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other people's accounts;
use Soundtrackd for anything unlawful.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Content and credits

Film and TV data and images come from TMDB. This website uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB. Song data and artwork come from Deezer and Last.fm, and pasted playlists are read from Spotify's public pages. These belong to their owners and are shown for reference only. Soundtrackd isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, or by the artists and studios behind the songs and films.

Lists you save stay yours. Search results are shared: when you search a song, the result may be shown to others who search the same song.

No warranty

Soundtrackd is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or that saved data will never be lost.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by third-party services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it (during the free beta, nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site or by email before it applies. We may end the service; if we do, we'll give notice so you can export your lists first. You can stop using Soundtrackd and delete your account at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts.
